With Warner on the fence about coming back and the Cards OC gone it would not be far fetched to think that the Cards bring in Martz to run the show. Who would be worried about Martz reuniting with the Cards after getting inside our organization and knowing the players so well?

But how would he reunite with the Cards? You mean Warner? I dont think it would matter. Our team will have a completely different look. What, is Mad Mike Martz going to help develop a strategy for the Cards D? LMAO I think not.

If Martz goes to the Cardinals, their Offense automatically becomes predictable and very over-rated. Not to mention, their pass protection is almost assured to suck!

It already sucks, Gandy for Least VP in the SB.

No chance, Wisenhunt is an offensive coach, he's not going to bring in an OC that runs a different system. Doesn't make any sense. He'll most likely promote from within and call the plays or hire somebody that he's familiar with.

Let's see, what did Wisenhunt known the Steelers players get him? Can we please stop the madness? if anything, our d would have the advantage from facing Martz all of the time in practice. There reay is no advantage.

No chance he brings someone from outside in? I guess he has only been with the Cards his entire career right? Coaches talk and they know who does and doesn't have a philosophy similar to theirs. He could very well bring somene in that he has coached with or someone who has a similar system.

It would be a downgrade.
Todd Haley >>>>>>>>>>>>Mike Martz
first off. MacGruber! ftw!
second off. Both of them give up on the run WAYYY too quickly

Which is to say it would still be better than ours.

That would be awesome.
Empty backfields + immobile quarterback = happy defense

If Martz goes to the Cards....the Niners beat them both times next year and win the NFC West.
If Martz doesn't go to the Cards....the Niners beat them both times next year and win the NFC West.

I see what you did there
I heard Whisenhunt is taking over playcalling duties. I'd be surprised if Martz was hired. Since his final season with St.Louis, his reputation has taken a hit.

So then what would change? They had 3 1000 yard receivers last year and struggled with the run during the regular season. They were already predictable during Haley, they were just good at what they did...

it kind of crazy that martz went from being called the genius with the rams to a guy who cant find a job. some people did not like when we fired this guy but i see the rest of the league don't like him either.

Hopefully they hire within the organization like we did when Norv left and they get themselves a hostler.

If the Cardinals even look at Martz I will cry. The guy is horrible.

If this indeed happens which seems more and more likely, I cant wait to see Warner get dropped 50 plus times. Doesnt Martz and Cards seem like a match made in heaven though?

The passrusher on the team that Martz is playing against and his QB eating dirt is a match made in heaven!:bat:

I would not like Martz with the Cardinals. With a weapon like Fitzgerald running around and an arm like Warner's...they will **** defenses up.

If Warner comes back it wouldn't matter because I think Whisenhunt would allow and root for Warner calling most of his own plays a la Peyton manning...

Yup - getting the boot from two of the most dysfunctional franchises in the NFL will do that to you...
