Well we know the man wants to be primary in a 3-4 system, so lets run down the list of teams that run a 3-4, and whom are starting the 3-4:

1. Baltimore - If they lose Suggs, I could see them making a strong run for him.

2. New England - I highly do not see Peppers going here strictly cause they have A. Thomas for this job.

3. New York Jets - Jets may make a strong run for Peppers, but with the drafts filling with likes of Gholston, new coaching change, I highly do not see this fit.

4. Miami - They are up and coming, but with Porter running the shots for sacks, I just do not see the jump to Miami.

5. Cleveland - They are a mess, but there is a good possibility Peppers may head to Cleveland if the price is right.

6. Pittsburgh - I do not see this happening at all with Woodley, Harrison, Farrior, Timmons forming a solid group.

7. San Diego- Good possibility since they have a strong run for a high push in the Playoffs, and adding him to Merriman would be sick.

8. Green Bay- Up and coming 3-4 system that has pretty good odds being a contender next year. They may do what they commanded in the 90's by getting Reggie White. This may be their White of now.

9. Dallas - Could the Cowboys land another high price talent player to go with Ware? Honestly it can happen, will it I doubt it. It's going to take a lot of cash to land Peppers, Cowboys could be the team since in a year the cap will be no more. I think this is a high area for him.

10. Arizona - If this team loses Dansby, and along with some other talent to the FA i could see them making a high push for them. Me as a 49ers fan, yes I would hate this but with them making that hard run in the Super Bowl, I can see Peppers in a Cardinals uniform.

11. San Francisco - Would Peppers be willing to go across country and play for the great Singletary? 49ers will have the cap room to get him, have the coach he would play for, the system, up and coming team. Could the 49ers land him? Strong perhaps I believe.

Main teams I see making a run for Peppers are: Dallas, Baltimore, San Francisco, Green Bay, Arizona, and San Diego.

Main ones from this list I would put Dallas, San Francisco, Green Bay.

Peppers wants to be paid. Forget the "I want to play 3-4" nonsense. Its a good way for a 4-3 player to widen the number of teams interested in them. So I dont buy that even if he is available (which is relatively unlikely in itself)

he's signing with the texans.

if he goes to Green Bay that would be a scary pash rush... Kampman on one edge and Peppers from the other...

As if Dallas doesn't have enough superstars...

I don't see 3-4 teams with already superstar pass rushers picking him up. SD for example wouldn't be big enough for the both of them (Ware and Merriman). Green Bay and Denver sound good just because both need pass rushers for their new 3-4's. Denver has a bunch of cap room as well.

I doubt he goes to Dallas, they did just draft Anthony Spencer although they may be ready to give up on him.

I dont get your logic. You said that BAL and MIA wouldnt want him becaus the have pass rusher in Suggs and Porter. Yet DAL, SD, GB would? They have passrushers as well.

I think he stays on a 43 team, but if he doesn't, you can eliminate:
Jets- No Money.
Ravens- No money.
Pitt- Don't need him
Cowboys- I think they are close to the cap.
Chargers- Aren't they losing Olshansky due to money?

Arizona has a ton of cap space and although they have some holes to fill and some FAs to be, I could see him landing there.

SF is obviously another strong possibility although Im not getting my hopes up.

SD, DAL, NYJ, I'd rule out.

GB and Miami are likely too, GB needs pass rushers and Miami could certainly use him.

I could also see Cleveland getting him.

Suggs, FTW!

- he actually has experience (his whole career) in a 3-4, and wouldn't cost as much

It's a no brainer people!!!!

I can see him going to the Cowgirls.

I think Miami is probably the most likely. Baltimore has a lot of its own free agents to sign.

There have been fan blog sites trying to push a Cassel for Peppers trade rumor. don't think it has any validity to it though.

They signed and moved Adaulius to MLB. He got hurt last year which is why you didn't hear much from him the year before they moved him to MLB which is why he went there. He wanted to be "ray"

I think there's a strong possibility the Panthers sign Gross to a long-term deal, and then franchise Peppers. I mean, how can they let a guy like that just walk?

Man only need to know 2 things in life.

1. Find the football.

2. Tackle the guy who is carrying it.

I don't think it's in Parcells to sign a high priced FA on a team that is "rebuilding". And no, just because they had a good year last year and made the playoffs does not mean that they are done "building" that team by any means. They still have a ton of holes in their secondary, QB (franchise QB), and WR.

SD doesn't really believe in big name FA's, and Dallas has enough invested in OLB's (Ware, Ellis, Spencer).

Baltimore is a possibility, but don't they have 3 FA LB's of their own to worry about, first ?

If Peppers' is serious about his desire to be a LB in a 3-4, SF is the spot that probably makes the most sense on both ends.

Peppers will be a Bronco.

But he's big and he can play zone coverage. Sounds perfect.

But... but... he's only played 4-3 DE before! Talented athletes can't learn to do different things!

Interesting, I could definately see that. They are switching to a 3-4/4-3 hybrid and he would be a big piece in that puzzle. They also need a pass rush to get Dre Bly and Champ going.

Reason why I brought up Baltimore is just in case the Ravens do not sign Suggs back. I could see them keeping Ray but letting Suggs walk. If thats the case, they will need someone to fill his spot, Peppers could be that guy. But in all I think the best bet is for him to come here.

Remember they have Bart Scott as a free agent.
