Redskins keep spending, add G Dockery
Washington’s wheeling and dealing did not end early Friday; it went into the night. The Redskins reached agreement with former Bills guard Derrick Dockery on a five-year, $26 million deal that includes $8.2 in guaranteed money. Combined with the $18.5 million in guaranteed money Dockery made from his two years with the Bills, he will have made nearly $27 million guaranteed in three years.

Yeah but they didn't have a whole lot of cap room. Cutting Springs helps but you have to wonder if there is anyone else they are going to have to cut. And their O will still suck.
Montana is tops

Who cares about the Skins'? Every few years they go out and do this kinda thing. Member when they signed Dana Stubblefield and all those other FA's? What happened that year? They failed to make it to the playoffs. This is the only time of the year they get any attention. Let them have their moment... they'll choke again next year.

Let's keep re-living in 2000.
It's not like the Redskins have made much better FA moves in the past 4-5 years or anything. Forget guys like London Fletcher, Fred Smoot, Clinton Portis, Cornelius Griffin, Mike Sellers, etc.
Let's just pretend like it's still a decade ago, and intelligent discussion can resume.
Eh, only signing that really strikes me as odd is DeAngelo Hall. Dude hasn't been the same in two years, and they dropped a bundle on him. Haynesworth is overpaid, but atleast the Skins will get value with him.

Matt Mosley summed it up fairly well here:

That doesn't sound like fun though.

What has all of that got for your team? Nothing. Redskins are just a bad team. This new group of signings is just another reason why the Redskins will always be a joke. They made DeAngelo Hall the highest paid corner in the league. That is just absolutely mind boggling. Then to turn around and spend what they did on Abert Haynesworth is crazy. Enjoy higher ticket prices and less wins.
