being a niner fan for 26 years living in detroit, i dont get a lot of news or games here. in the 80's and 90's it wasnt a problem but since their slip from greatness i dont see as much. now that i joined the internet world its all at my finger tips, and how excited iam!!! thanks to all u cali fans i get a closer look at where were going. u all get the local news and a more indepth look at our team. great posts from everyone keeps me informed. thanks. we are on the right road back to greatness. coming to san fran in dec to see my 1st game in "candlestick" and watch the packers get stomped!!! then making the road trip to seattle 4 days later for that one!!! plus the game in detroit!!! might even make the 3 hour drive for the bears game. 4 in 1 year, not bad for someone in detroit. i think all we need now is some help on D and another goto WR. am i right? once that happens and we start winning games we'll start to get cocky and it will snowball into something more!! RED AND GOLD FOREVER!!!!!!!!

I'm right there with you being in Florida. Much thanks to all those close to the team that keep the rest of us in the loop. And special thanks to bonstonker for all the game films on your site. I've been able to watch games that I normally wouldn't be able to.

You think living in Detroit makes it hard for you. Try living in the UK

i just joined the other day to this boad, but i know what you saying about living in the land of the NFC North we really never get any Niner coverage up here. The only coverage around here where i am at is how Great Grossman is right now, and how bad Brett is... I really need to move :spy:

Actually thats a point, how does coverage work in the US?
Over here sky sports selects one game to show at 6pm on a Sunday then 1 at 9pm. Channel 5 shows the monday night game and after the baseball season is done the show a late game on Sunday night too.
As you can imagine Sky's games are chosen based on what people want to watch and being that the 49ers aint been great lately they haven't been shown too much. As a result I rely on highligh reels posted on here etc

i get a 1:00 game thats allways the lions. 4:00 game is usually a nfc game but they dont play many niner games. more like bears, pack, eagles. but back in the day the 4:00 games had a lot of 9er games. all i can hope for is sunday/monday night now

most of the time here the 12:00 game is the Bears, if the Pack play at 3:00 then they usually follows the Bears game depending on what network has the double header. See i can pick up both Wisconsin and Illinois broadcast so i have the option to watch either one if i wanted to if they both played at the same time. otherwise like last week when the bears played the packers i got lions/sea on fox and the KC/Cin game on CBS at noon and then at three i had to sit through that painful boring packers/bears game. Boy do i miss my sunday ticket! :wild: At least i got to see the last minute or so of the niners game after the packers/bears cow/jag was over
