Texans agreed to terms with DT Shaun Cody on a three-year contract.

Cody, the No. 37 overall pick in 2005, never developed as a pocket pusher in Detroit, but is only 26 and has upside. He'll likely push Travis Johnson at nose tackle in Houston. At worst, Cody should help as a rotational run stopper.

I would have liked to take him, hes better than 80% of our line, but I like the direction Sing is taking with team chemistry and keeping the guys we have to make them better.
