They have to make it a west coast game because it starts at like 10pm est. There aren't a lot of teams to pick in the AFC or NFC west. I personally don't have a problem with the games chosen. First we get to see T.O. stick his foot in his mouth and then we get to see Philip Rivers dropping F bombs on the Raiders. It's a win/win

last time that happened. TO alligator armed everything and Moss was flipping a pass over his head to another WR for a TD....translation that game was overhyped as well for those two...

JJ has to be pissed. "What? You mean they really were just paying attention to the Cowboys because we had that headcase on the team?! Quick, someone manufacture some drama, quick!"

:spit: LMAO!
I'm really surprised Philadelphia, Carolina, Arizona, Baltimore, San Diego and Atlanta (teams that all made the playoffs last year) aren't getting any media attention in the first week of primetime games.

i like the idea of the Pats vs Bills on monday night. We'll get to see TO get owned all night long. This will cause frustration because he won't get the ball tossed in his direction, and he'll cry like he always does.

Why Oakland - why not SD vs Denver at least? And then Oakland plays Dallas on Thanksgiving???
I thought the NFL hates Oakland - why the heck are they giving them some sweet national tv time???

cause every once in a while somebody gets stabbed at an Oakland/San Diego game, and that could mean some extra ratings...
Especially if it happens in the first half and makes the front page of Yahoo by halftime.

I thought the NFL hates Oakland - why the heck are they giving them some sweet national tv time???Oakland is the perfect Thanksgiving team for Dallas. Like what the League/TV Networks have done in the past several years is match a team with a losing record to play Dallas. This way the Toni Romo/Jerry Jones "LOVEFEST" can continue on yet another Thanksgiving holiday!
Last year Seattle?
Jets the year before?
The only good thing is Dallas usually loses every game after Thanksgiving!
I don't think the Bills have beat the Patriots since 2001.
No, I remember they shut out New England on opening day in 2003 31-0.

you are correct Ness. That was the game Lawyer Malloy played against the Pats after being released the week before. Everybody was stunned when they let Malloy go and we were stunned when we go smashed by Buffalo

Denver never really had success in the AFL, so i think thats why they went with the Radiers. Plus Al Davis believed in the AFL, so that could also be a reason.
