I have been scheming trying to figure out how to get Raji. I don't think he will be there @ 10. Therefore we need to trade up to get him. Jax makes sense. They are rumored to be looking for a QB. Sanchez will be there. They draft 8th. GB probably would take Raji @ #9. So we swap picks with Jax. They get Sanchez @ 10. We get Raji @ 8. So what would you be willing to give up to move up 2 spots?

Well, I like Raji, and I think he'd be hard to pass on at 10, but I don't think I'd be trading up for him. Nose Tackle isn't a bona fide need for us right now. It is a need, but not even close to how badly we need a Right tackle and a pass rusher.
I like the idea of trading back into the first round to get the other major need, more than the idea of trading up from 10.

is he a good player? yes, but is he worth trading up for? hell no, no player in this draft is worth giving up that much. we have too many needs, and our draft picks are way to valuable to give up for one player. we are not one player away from a championship, and thats the way you have to look at it. just not worth it. sorry.

Trade our entire draft class, then if the Jaguars still don't agree, throw in 2010's first round pick.

It depends on who is still available. Raji is my first choice at 10, but if there are still good quality guys around, we should stay put. You also have to factor that in for green bay and jax, the players still left on the board. If a lot of talent is gone, we might have to trade up with jax to nab raji.

He is the only player i would trade up i think it would be trading up to 6 or 7 or a chance he will fall

I'd trade a first and a 3rd, but then again, I'm kind of disappointed in who we'll likely be picking between at 10 (Maclin, Andre Smith, Michael Oher, Everette Brown)

We have a RT now, Mr. Marvel...Smith. Could be very good if he stays healthy.

I'd love Raji, and I'd be fine with using our 5th rounder to trade up to get him.. but I don't see it happening because it probably wouldn't be enough to trade up.

There will still be plenty of talent left at number 10. As long as we dont take Sanchez I'll be happy. It'll definitely be a better year than last years Balmer pick.

Ive herd he is a good fit to be a NT but at the same time I've herd he is too short and his arms are too short also.

I guess people hated on jesus, so let the haters hate huh?

Again, why do we assume he's gone. Another recent NFL.com mock had Raji falling to 10 (in fact beyond, as that mock was another where the 9ers took Sanchez).

Let's just stick at 10 and see who falls, or perhaps trade down.

our 10th overall pick and a 5th won't get you anywhere

10 and a 4th might be enough to swap picks with 9, but if Raji is sitting there at 9.... chances are Green Bay will want him, and a 4th definitely wouldn't be enough to persuade them otherwise

so I've come to the conclusion that the poll options are ****ing retarded

Agreed.

1st and 4th wouldnt move you up 2 spots. You'd be lucky if it moved you up one. And no, I'd rather not trade up for anyone this high in the draft.

Heck yes I would trade up for B.J. Raji. Hes probably the only guy I would trade up for and if the 49ers had the first pick in the draft he would be my choice. Hes the one guy in this draft that could come in and make one side of your team a lot better from the get go.

His prescence in the middle of our defense would take pressure off of Willis and propel him to even higher levels. Hes exactly what this defense needs to become one of the better Ds in this league. Throw in a passer rusher in the second and we look good.

I checked the Draft Value chart and it would take our 1st, 3rd and 6th to move up to Cincys spot which is sixth. Its entirely worth it since we have the comp 5th pick so it would really only cost us a third. However, I think he might be long gone by 6.

It has cost this team dearly over the years when Donahue traded back in 2004 and passed on Vince Wolfolk. Guys like Raji and Wolfolk are rare players and if you play a 3-4 you have got to nab them when they are available.

I really dont know what to expect in this draft. I, personally just hope that Raji, Crabtree, or Brown falls. Oher, I am not too excited about, but I suppose if any coach can motivate him it is Samarai.

I agree with you about Raji, Carbtree and Brown. They are th three most dominate players in the draft in my opinion.

that's why there are thousands of internet sites dedicated to just that...talking about the draft. In fact why are you on this board? Go away.

I would love to get Raji if he falls to us but there are some good and underrated guys later in the draft who can fit the 3-4 NT spot. They would just need some time to learn the position.

If we are going to give up draft picks, I would rather spend them of getting a guy like Sean Rogers who knows and has been successful as a 3-4 NT at the NFL level.

Raji is either going to cinci or GB. However, i do believe we will have a shot at him because of the drug test. I'm with you, i want Raji 1st and foremost.

I am personally praying we draft him. NT's are really hard to find and Raji is a perfect fit for what we want to do. He is fast, demands double-teams and can penetrate.

We land a guy like that, a top 10 defense is practically a lock because he makes everyone's job easier. Balmer might have a chance to bloom, Justin Smith would have more space and our linebackers could take the leashes off.

I'd value him over any Tackle or QB we'd be looking at with the #10, especially with the signing of Marvel Smith. OL is deep enough we could land a quality Tackle with our second pick.

You're probably right. You have no idea what will ever happen, EVER! We should all just quit while we're ahead.
