he had 1 count them 1 td last year. so much for a goal line threat. ive never been impressed by him. we can find someone much much better then him. like shonn greene for instance? man getting would instantly improver our run game

I like Shonn Greene but he's gonna be 24 when the season starts. I'd take him in the 3rd but If they're gonna take a RB on day one I'd hope he'd be 22 yrs old or younger.
but i'd rather be older and better than younger and unproven, not saying that's the thing here though, but just because he's 24 doesn't mean we shouldn't take him because someone else is younger

I've had us taking Arian Foster in my mocks for some time now. Very talented RB, great size and natural running instincts.

Underrated RB that has been held back by injuries and could probably use some motivation. Cali raised.

True dat, I mean if he's the BPA at RB than of course I'd be okay with it but I'd rather have someone younger who's not going to lose in legs in 4-5 years even as a back-up. I'd rather have Rashad Jennings in the 3rd or James Davis in the 4th than Shonn Greene in the 2nd.
heck if greene is the BPA in the 2nd i wouldn't mind him neither, but i doubt we touch a RB in the 2nd and yea jennings would be great in the 3rd round i doubt we touch a QB or RB on the 1st day........expect it in day two though lol btw jennings would be a nice fit for us

Foster would be a decent fallback if we can't land Andre Brown. Good feet and ability to go break tackles.

I live in TN. I watch TN football because i have no choice. Foster is Eddie George.

HOWEVER, he is a poor man's Eddie George and Foster wasn't the best back on his team. Hardesty is.. so we can land Foster in the 4th/5th round because he isn't special.

I prefer Gartrell Johnson as a later round rb. My preference is for Jennings/Greene

Gartrell Johnson is garbage IMO, I'd prefer Marlon Lucky, Jeremiah Johnson, or James Davis over him.

Could be a steal. He was great in 2007 with Erik Ainge at QB, but Jonathan Crompton is possibly the worst quarterback ever.

But Greene played sparingly during his freshman and sophomore seasons, had a year off, and then had last season. He really only has one year of wear on him so he's got plenty years left

As a UT fan, this could be on of the worst picks. He is great from 20-20. He was terrible in the red zone. He has a habit of turning the ball over at the worst time in the game. Also he was a terrible leader this year in Knoxville. If he wasn't talking in Teridactal, he was trashing the press for wanting Fulmer out of Knoxville.
