This is great news for anyone (like myself!) who wants sanchez to be drafted as it means that the 49ers are looking at an alternative plan should sanchez not be available at #10--he probably will, though it would be better if we could trade up to be sure.

If he makes it to the 2nd round I can understand the pick. But if we've learned anything from every single year of offseason it's just because people are brought in does not mean they will be selected or even considered as a possible pick. At this point all we are trying to do is hide our hand and not let anyone else know what we're doing.
