He has the 9ers selecting:

10. San Francisco — Michael Oher, OT, Ole Miss, Senior: The subject of Michael Lewis' 2006 study on left tackles could bolster a 49ers offensive line that had its issues last season. Joe Staley is likely the LT of the future; Oher could be the RT. As odd as it seems to have Shaun Hill as the starting QB entering a season, No. 10 is simply too high in this draft for any of the quarterbacks not named Sanchez or Stafford. Oher's been an NFL prospect since the day he stepped on the field in Oxford. He'll be a nice addition for San Francisco.

43. San Francisco — Sean Smith, CB, Utah, Senior: A guy named Smith out of Utah? Shouldn't that give 49ers fans nightmares? This Smith — Sean, not Alex — is a 6-4 ballhawk. Still relatively new to the cornerback position, he'll learn from veterans Walt Harris and Nate Clements.

74. San Francisco — Alex Magee, DT, Purdue, Senior

111. San Francisco — Trevor Canfield, OG, Cincinnati, Senior

146. San Francisco — Glen Coffee, RB, Alabama, Senior

184. San Francisco — Mike Teel, QB, Rutgers, Senior

219. San Francisco — Captain Munnerlyn, CB, South Carolina, Junior

So what do you think?

I would be happy with this draft, I love picks 1,2 and 5.

Don't like pick 6 and 7...

Thoughts?

I'm not liking the fact that they don't have us taking a pass rusher. 2 OL and 2 DB?? I do like cofee in the 5th though.

I don't want to trade down, there will be good players avalible at number 10 and we need whoever that will be on the roster.

As always, it depends on a) which players are on the board at 10; b) whether any team is interested in 10 and if so c) what they offer the 9ers.

There are likely to be plenty of decent players available after 10, and it may be that the 9ers don't see value in any player at 10, while they'd also like to reduce the economic impact of the their first pick.

I could see us going for Smith, our FO was talking about Reggie Smith playing CB against the bigger WR's of the cards, but now he's a FS. So I could see taking Smith to fill the void.

fine

43. San Francisco — Sean Smith, CB, Utah, Senior:

Id be disapointed in this pick with Barwin and McCoy still on the board.

111. San Francisco — Trevor Canfield, OG, Cincinnati, Senior

not sure if I want us taking another Guard again this early, he'd be hard pressed to make the team.

146. San Francisco — Glen Coffee, RB, Alabama, Senior

Not sure I want us waiting quite this long to get a big RB either. this is us passing up Lesean McCoy and Shonn Greene in the 2nd, Andre Brown in the 3rd, and Rashad Jennings and Kory Sheets in the 4th

184. San Francisco — Mike Teel, QB, Rutgers, Senior

With the way this draft plays out, I'd rather sign Cullen Harper as a UFA

You missed out comp picks, btw

Your right and I understand that, I do think there will be a good pick at #10. I would not be mad if we traded back to pick up a few more picks but we are in good shape with the 10th selection.
