I'm a bit nervous about playing P. Manning this week against JAX. I think the Jacksonville defense will be out for blood. Because my league only gives a point per 50 passing yards, it's better to have a TD happy QB, and I suspect this will be a field goal game. Marvin Harrison is staying in my lineup in my other league (he owns JAX), but I'm concerned that this week's game will be more like the first JAX-IND matchup last year, and not like the second.

I picked up Grossman this week in part because he'll be handy during Manning's week six bye, when the Bears play Arizona, and to keep him away from my opponents. I'm unsure about where the Minnesota defense stacks up, but I have a gut feeling that Grossman might be a slightly better play than Manning this week. Then again, he might have a terrible day and throw no touchdowns - he's well positioned to be a stud-to-dud. Any thoughts?

Dude, always count on Peyton...I'd start him over Grossman

No contest, I'd say Peyton all the way. The Vikings D hasn't looked all that bad and their at home. I don't think Grossman is a bum, but he's no where as near as good as his 1st two game stats show. The Jags have a great D, but it is Manning. You can't really bench people like Manning, Alexander, L.T., etc....

I can't imagine ever benching a healthy Manning, no matter who he's playing.

Totally agree. ALWAYS start Peyton regardless of the matchup. Don't worry about Jacksonville; they've got a solid secondary, but it's beatable. Bledsoe made some horrible decisions for those picks, and Big Ben's never been a great passer without the running game.

MANNING...just remember who Grossman has faced.
