I'm looking to get a new 49ers jersey for Fathers Day. The thing is I have a throwback Montana, but I was wondering out of the 2009 Niners who would be the best to get. I was thinking Crabtree but he's not even signed yet. Willis is our franchise, and Gore is our Offense.
I want to get one to wear that when I wear it, it says this Niner jersey makes me proud to put on a Niners jersey.
Thoughts...

I'd go with the franchise.
But it's your choice. If you like Vernon Davis more than you like Willis, then by golly, get a VD jersey!

Well "by golly" Vernon is not a guy that when the folk at the bar see it they say that guy is gr8. Clements, Justin Smith, Willis, heck I'd even wear a Staley jersey. Those dudes are studs on the '09 roster.
Vernon could be '10 jersey, being that this is his breakout yr.

Ronnie Lott
If he was still on the '09 Roster the NFL would penalize him for being the hardest hitter every week. Huh, u think the Mrs. would get a throwback and a '09 jersey... eh doubt it. Ronnie Lott would be nice.

Think it was retired for Brodie was it not? I seem to remember Dilfer got permission to wear it because he knows Brodie through some family tie or another (I want to say Brodie is Dilfer's father in law but I'm not sure that's entirely right but it's something like that)

That, sir, would be the one with the big "52" on the front, back and shoulders. I'd go with Willis.

I had the same dilema, only for my birthday. I went with Crabtree. He isnt signed yet but he will, and it will be a brand new contract.
This, of course, knowing my luck, probably will mean he will be a bust just so I end up with a worthless jersey

Of course its cause he played down der at alabamy bout 2 hours from the farm. He's gonna surprise all the city slickers out der in calfornia!
On a serious note P.Willis has earned my money for being a consistent player. :)

Thats tempting, but me being me I would want to wear it not put it up in a case or frame.
I have one of the Ronnie Lott figurines that I'm tempted to open.

Congrats on making it a "Dub"!
I'm leaning towards the Willis jersey. Thats my kinda player. Although Gore has been a delight since we drafted him in the 3rd.
Decisions decisions!

Willis is the only current Niner jersey I'd buy right now.
Might look into a Nate Davis one in a few years though ;)

I think the number would be pretty obvious...it would say majesstik above it.
Not really into custom jerseys though. I'll stick with my Lott, Craig and Rice ones for now. Probably will get a Willis one at some point.

The safest jersey to get is Willis, by far. HB's don't last long and Gore already has signs of wear and tear. I'd be surprised if he is still our starter in 3 years. Nobody else is really that good who's also still fairly young.

Joe Staley!
You're kidding right? He's good but he's nowhere near the top at his position.
edit: When I said nobody is "that good", I meant nobody on the team is as good as Willis (I guess Andy Lee but he's a punter). He's good, but not great like Willis.

Personalized is always good and safe, but after seeing the Singletary jersey, I want one, it looks great, good idea!
