This is part 1 of what could be a 21-part series, in which you democratically get to choose what team wins each division, who the wild card teams are, and predict the playoffs all the way up until the Super Bowl.

So I figured we could start with the division of the defending Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers. Poll will be up in a second.

Pittsburgh in a landslide.

Pittsburgh. After a season where their schedule was as tough as it could be and won the SB, this should be a little bit easier. 14-2. At worse 13-3.

One of the few divisions where I won't pick an upset. Sure it's possible for the Bengals to come together and win but I just don't see it. Their D played well last season but based on talent, that shouldn't last long.

Steelers....I think Baltimore will give them a run & probably be an 11-win wildcard team....But Pittsburgh won the Super Bowl last year with a porous O-line & significant injuries to their bread-and-butter, the running game....This year should be fairly dominant with a weaker schedule....

I hate picking a team just because they did good last year.

But the Bengals seem to be a bit of a mess, and the Browns are still a mess.

So it's really a two team race. I expect the Ravens to give a serious push for the division, but still, I'm picking the Steelers to take it.

pitt, less hectic of an offseason than baltimore's team did with dealing with mcnair.
pitt also is only missing one person, foote, while baltimore lost scott dc ryan s leonhard,and t anderson. also landry's play will be questionable in his return from a major injury.

baltimore is built in pitts image but not sure if they can truthfully surpass them.

finally ben's worse season was 8 n 8 with a 2nd place finish. healthy he has always finished first in the afcn.

ps head to head teams are close but cle and cincy always play baltimore closer than they do pitt and could steal a home game that gives pitt the afcn

I'm not prepared to say they have a shot at winning the division but I'm picking the Bengals to be a surprise #2 in the division. I dont think people are taking into account that Palmer is 100% and they have some decent offensive weapons ALSO their defense although not elite by any stretch will be a LOT better then people are expecting.
