He'll be 23 when he gets drafted.

So? That means he'd be more NFL ready as a rookie. Also, defensive tackles tend to have very long lifespans in the NFL...see: Williams, Pat; Jackson, Grady; Williams, Jamal

Something tells me that if Balmer completely sucks at NT (which they are trying him at and he could very easily fail), then we will be in the Vince Wilfork sweepstakes and likely at the top of the list. We have plenty of money to throw around.

Corey Wootton ?

Is going to be a mutha****in beast, but I'd question him even at 34 end. He's the #2 43 end for me in this class, after Carlos Dunlap. He's also about 50 pounds too light and 4 inches too tall to be a nose tackle.

Not a bad choice. He's been impressive in the Ole Miss games I've seen.

I didn't think Andre Smith could be topped but he very well may be.

He is disgusting. The NFL will eat him alive unless he gets his weight in check.

The 9ers won't spend for him. We should've drafted BRACE!!! The Pats did th esmart thing. They drafted Brace to replace Wilfork knowing they won't resign him for big money. To run the 3-4 you need a NT that likes to eat faces....
So they'll have Brace real cheap for a few years while someone else overspends on Wilfork. But he's a necessay part if you want to run a 3-4.

The Pats have had the best draft 3 years running.....

Would like Wilfork but not so sure cuz we need to give a longer deal to VD and Patrick Willis one of those years.

Wooton is a good player, and hes' put away concerns about that knee.
However, I don't think he's stout enough to run a 3-4.

That's the thing about the whole 3-4, you have to have the right personnel. And we really don't .
