One more shot for these Q.B. (Hill & Smith) more for Smith cause even though he took a pay cut he's still would be getting paid good money which would lead to his last days in San Fran, If Hill on the other hand doesn't work out either at least he showed he could be a solid back Q.B. plus doesn't get paid big money. Now the reason Scott McCloughan said picking up another first rounder for 2010 was the other biggest move on draft day aside from (Crabtree) cause if Hill & Smith don't plan best believe either Bradford or McCoy would be our future Q.B.

Bradford and McCoy are both going to go bust.

Hill. Why spend a high pick and a ton of money on a gimmick spread offense qb, when we already have qb we can win with.
Dump Alex, keep Hill.

Snead...

will be better than all four of the quarterbacks mentioned in the OP.

I think Bradford is going to make a fine NFL QB. IMO.

Kid (Alex) still deserves a shot this is the best O he's been around since he got drafted

I completely agree, Do we really want another QB from a spread system!!!!!

Like everyone else, i like Snead. A lot can change in a year, but right now he's my top target for 2010.

If McCloughan is here, i wonder if we will even try to get a QB. Part of me thinks that unless Smith completely fails, he'll get another shot to win the starting QB job.

Yeah I like Snead and I too agree with you that Alex will probably get yet another shot next year.

I'd be happy with McCoy or Snead. For me we don't have a future franchise calibre QB on the roster.

A Texas boy, but not McCoy.

Jevan Snead.

He will be the best QB to enter the 2010 Draft if he declares early as a Junior.

Unfortunately I've not seen Snead play in a live game. The highlight real looks good but anyone can look good on a highlight film. I hope the station that I watch college football on over here shows a few Ole Miss games.

On the vid though, I love his quick release. He sure does get the ball out quick when he selects his target.

Please no.
He is Roy Williams II. Berry is better.

No freakin way. I'd take Berry and Burnett over Mays any time.

I think Smith has more talent than both of those QB's, and it would take longer to develop them into a good QB than it would Smith (if Smith plays well enough this year to stay on the roster, that is). But if for some reason Smith and Hill both suck, I would draft Bradford. He should turn into a great NFL QB

Man Im not sure if you guys are talking about a different Taylor Mays but I am talking about this guy..

Taylor Mays, measured at 6'3" and 3/4, 221 lbs with 4.5% body fat.

Reps of 225 on the bench: 21
Verticle Leap: 41" (Better than anyone at the 2008 combine at any position)
Standing Broad Jump: 11'2" (Longest at combine was 11'4")
40 Time: 4.22 (Yes, 4.22) (Better than anyone at the 2008 combine at any position)"

Watch a few USC games this year, he changes the game on nearly every play. And I hate USC but **** this guy is good.

Have you actaully watched him play? Watching players play is usually a better indication of how good they are than their measurements and combine stats. He hits hard and is athletic, but he is terrible in coverage. Berry would be a much better pick.

I watched nearly every game last year and didnt feel there was an issue with coverage whatsoever. But this year will be a better indicator..

Mays is very Raw, easily the best athlete in the class of 10. However a lot of these athlete experiments have failed lately I.E Vernon Davis, Vernon Gholston. One of the few that have worked out has been antonio cromartie.

Ya I feel some positions you can almost get away with shear altheticism, like S, though I think this guy will turn in a monster year. And VD isnt a failure yet, this year is his year. The guy also probably blocks better than starting OL in the NFL.

Vernon Davis is a physical beast, but that hasn't really translated into good football play doesn't it.

He looks very very impressive form those highlights. I will be watching him and McCoy close this year. They are my 2 favorite QB prospects.

Yea, right?
I mean being a named pro-bowl alternate doesn't mean anything these days right?

Not something I made up, something I found somewhere else.

4.5% bf is the craziest of them all IMO

And yes, I know who Berry is. Would be absolutely thrilled to have him as well, but I think Mays has a much higher ceiling.
