it is preseason but does anyone get the feeling the Eagles are way way overrated?

their first team defense has gotten manhandled by Brady and Manning in consecutive weeks and their 5 starters on their O line have yet to play a game together.

Well it wasn't an entire game. Not only that, we're talking about going against the two best quarterbacks in the league. I wouldn't say Philadelphia is overrated. I still expect them to make a deep run in the playoffs like they always do.

they can make a deep run since they play in the NFC.

Andy Reid can't get it done against AFC teams and a AFC team usually beats the Eagles at the Linc in the 2000's

it is preseason so i wouldn't say the eagles are overrated yet. as long as donovan, bwest, and desean make it through the preseason healthy than it has been a good preseason.

but the oline does concern me, no way the eagles can make a legit playoff run with a patched work oline.

Just some of my observations:

Ellis Hobbs (the back-up RCB) blew a coverage on the Wayne TD. Blown assignments tend to happen in the preseason, especially with new players.

They shut down the running games of both teams.

Akeem Jordan got beat by Chris Baker for the 1st TD last week, but came back and had excellent coverage on the same play this weak. Improvement is what the preseason is for.

Like you said, the starting 5 OLmen have yet to play or even practice together this year. I'd like to see how they look, if only 4 of them are on the field together. They are going to be moving people around in the running game once they get going.

I still think they're the team to beat in the NFC.

A lot of people are acting like the NFC title game will be somebody vs the Eagles. I think those people are on something.

I won't be surprised if the Panthers rout the Eagles in week 1 and McNabb probably gets knocked out of the game.

But McNabb's in for a rough day with Shawn Andrews doing his weird emo routine with his injury and likely not playing in that game. Winston Justice is awful.
