http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lid9zOK2l8 Why don't we look at Tim Tebow? Him and Singletary might match well, as well as Raye's offensive scheme. Tried the QB thread, but it's a silly place. I think we could pick him up...

Uhh no spread offense QBs please. You done seen what happened with Smith didn't you? Urban Meyer QBs do not transcend to the pros. No spread offense, we need to draft a pro style playing QB.

If we want to be a 90% running team, then sure why not.

If we want to compete with the rest of the NFL...let someone else draft him.

I think that Tebow will fall in the draft. I feel he should have left this year when there wasn't a strong QB selection. This coming up Draft as it stand looks to have many pro prospects. If Tebow plays the same type of ball he did last year, scouts will look at him the same way as Pat White Hybrid. I feel he would be a gamble in the second round, but if he was there, and we don't go out to get a franchise QB, why not take the risk.

Maybe he does fall, but he said (if I remember correctly) that he wants to stay one more year in college football so he could prove that he can be an NFL QB. So, now everything depends of this college football season, and what he will do.

If he proves that he can be a good QB for the NFL teams, he can still stay at the top of the draft picks.

There are a few things about Tebow that I like. His work ethic is good, he has a solid physique (unlike Ol' Big nose), his desire is admirable...

His talent, sucks ****! And he's basically Alex Smith version 2.0.
Someone will drink the Tebow Kool-aid, and consequently be fired a year later.
Truth be told, his best shot in the NFL would be as a half-back, in the mold of Chris Cooley.

what scares me is that Tebow's mental makeup and attitude is something that Singletary might like...:( that would suck something hard...

Tebow is a great athlete, but no where near a pro QB........ Look, the Titans are stuck with sorry *** Vince Young and we have Smith on our roster.... If we draft Tebow, I wouldn't know what to say..... I liked Smith, but hoped for Aaron Rodgers because of the pro-style he came from..... If Tebow is drafted in the first round by anyone, they are fools

I don't really care if we draft a pro style QB or not (but preferably not Tebow) As long as he has the feet, can make quick reads, and good pocket presence needed to be successful in the NFL. I don't think it's that big of a deal as some here make it out to be if the guy came from working under shotgun in college....Drew Brees and Joe Flacco plus many others that ran out of shotgun about 80-90 percent of the time in collge and they are doing or did pretty well in the Pros.

McCoy is the best QB that will enter into the pros next year

i do not trust Stoops coached QBs and Tebow - he can make the throws but plays in a gimmick offense that well has caught on in the NFL

Tebow is a gamble pick but id take him in the 2nd or 3rd def not the first

The first time Tebow tries to run up the middle in the NFL will be his last.

Tebow has talent, unlike Alex Smith.

the jury is still out on tebow, he still has all this year and the senior bowl to convince the NFL he is a legit qb prospect.

Stay away from big 12 qbs lmao. At least Tebow has intangibles.

I wouldn't take Tebow, I don't think he translates to the NFL.

However Tebow pretty much succeeds at whatever he wants, so if he wants to be an NFL quarterback it's hard for me to doubt him.

Tebow just has the farthest to climb to prove it.

and they end up with a top 10 pick(which will be ours)..what do you think the chances are that 49ers select Tim Tebow? He's got a decent arm and is very physical and punishing.

Urban Meyer QB, no one should even have to give you a answer.

He won't go top 10 anyways and I wouldn't be totally against taking him in the 2nd if the opportunity arose. It wouldn't be to be our franchise QB tho...

I don't think Tebow will be a good pro qb at all. I'll vomit if we take him.

Tebow projects as a late 2nd/early 3rd rounder. Also it's extremely unlikely that he'll play QB in the NFL; he will be looked at as a FB or TE by most teams.

Tebow is a hardcore christian, I expect singletary might like him.

Other than that, I don't see it happening.

Urban meyer runs a gimmick offense, his quarterback products will not do well in the NFL!

I think Tebow goes late first round, maybe early second and i don't believe he will be a full time QB?

I actually like Tebow as a developmental qb, but come on. I wouldn't touch him in the first round. If we didn't have 2 first rounders I wouldn't touch him in the second round. He's a project and isn't anywhere near NFL ready. He has the intangibles, but there are so many question marks about him.

If we took Tebow we should be able to get him with our later 1st round pick if ot our 2nd round pick.
Assuming we really wanted him.
I would rather use one of the picks on McCoy.
