Round 1 Pick 1(Carolina's Pick) - Mount Cody(Alabama-NT) - Highly dependant upon how Aubrayo Franklin plays this year but I truly believe we need to draft a NT to get push up front to put pressure on opposing QB's so at this point I have us taking Terrence "Mount" Cody from Alabama. He is not only a huge player to stuff the run, but he is a monstrous body to take 2-3 bodies to block and if he can lean up a little bit and put on some muscle could be a Pro Bowl NT with some motivation from Singletary.

Round 1 Pick 2 - Myron Lewis(Vanderbilt-FS) - I really like what I have seen from Nate Davis so far in the pre-season and I think Singletary might want him being grooomed to become starter if he keeps up with his production and could very well become our Franchise QB, so at this point I think we take a safety to help out our secondary and the one I believe whom is left at this point is Myron Lewis who could really climb the boards if he has a year similar to last where he 76 tackles, 5 sacks, 5 interceptions, and 7 TFL at FS.

Round 2 - Sam Young(Notre Dame-OT) - Marvel Smith just retired and Adam Snyder is getting injured and Barry Sims isn't an answer and the few veteran options we are looking at won't be around for long, so I believe we take a solid OT to shore up our right side and Sam Young at 318 lbs. is a big body who has improved alot with alot of room to grow yet and would be a great pick here to protect our QB.

Round 3 - Jimmy Clausen(Notre Dame-QB) - Not a flashy pick, but I have a feeling we drop Damon Huard and Alex Smith leaving us with Nate Davis and Shaun Hill, and I think Clausen could be a decent pickup in the 3rd round after having a solid sophmore year, I think he could grow alot in his junior year, but with this years depth at QB could easily be found in the 3rd round. I think the biggest upside to Clausen is the fact that he has worked in a pro style system with Charlie Weiss.

Round 4 - Navorro Bowman(Penn State-OLB) - A lack of pass rush from our OLB's needs to be solved and I think Bowman is one of the better OLB's available at this point with more talent than his round grading but will see significant drop due to the fact he has had some troubles in college with Marijuana and Disorderly Conduct. But I believe he is arguable the best player on Penn's defense and could develop well into the NFL.

Round 5 - Jerome Murphy(South Florida-CB) - 6'1" 185lbs makes for a big corner with solid speed to learn from Bly and Clements and hopefully push for a position in a couple years. But definitely a developmental corner.

Round 6 - Matt Clap(Oklahoma-FB) - Moran is getting older but is still a solid FB but I feel we need to bring someone in to learn form both Moran and Rathman and be groomed to take over for Moran and I think Clap is it. He has outstanding blocking and fairly solid hands.

Round 7 - Kurtis Gregory(Missouri-OG) - Gregory started every game as a sophmore and was an All Big XII Honorable Mention, and this past year he made the All Big XII 2nd team. Taking another solid OG here gives us solid depth up front on the line and hopefully some more strength in the trenches to help open lanes for our RB's and protect our QB's.

I really doubt Clausen comes out this year.
