First Niners Game -- What to Do?

I am a long time 49ers fan. I am coming from Canada for what will be my first ever live 49ers game at Candlestick Park. I want to make the day as special as I can. What is the intinerary for the perfect day of 49ers football ... both before, during and after the game.

What day are you getting to SF? For us it is a whole weekend deal. We spend saturday in the City getting some stuff for the tailgate from some stores in the City. Then Saturday night go out for dinner at a favorite place we have. Sunday morning get to the Stick and be there when they open the lot and get the tailgate spot up. See all our friends in the lot have some great food then go into the game. Watch the Niners win. Then come out for a post game tailgate and let the traffic clear out and talk about the game with everyone while listening to the post game radio show.

We are actually going to spend the week in SF. We will get there Friday and won't leave until the following Saturday. What time does the lot open? Is there a place where the local fans go after the game for some good food? Party? etc?
