Didn't see this posted yet, and just saw it on NFL.com. All 3 Playbook analysts Brian Baldinger, Sterling Sharpe, and Joe Theismann all pick the 49ers to win week 2 vs the Seahawks.

Kind of nice to see that we earned some respect from the guys that usually pick us to lose every week. All 3 picked Arizona to beat us last week. Let's hope their all right this time.

They're just jumping on the bandwagon.

Yep and 2 of them picked the Jags to beat the Cards. That would be great.

It's just great because we haven't had this much respect in such a long time, from any network, let alone NFL network

Not sure if it's so much respect, than it is common sense. We all know how hard those guys try to ignor us, but somebody on there must have done the proper math.

We are gonna murder the Seahawks then watch all the groupies come running.

i'm sure its only cause were at home..if it were on the road you'd be seeing different results with their predictions

Baldy and Sharpe pick us to win games way more than other analysts do. But i cant believe that Theisman chose us, he hates the niners..

Bandwagon or not, I don't think it's any coincidence that it's the former players who are jumping on first, particularly Baldy, who got a chance to see what's going on around here up close and personal this summer. They understand more than anyone the impact a guy like Singletary can have on a team, even though he's not a X's and O's guy by any stretch.

We'll beat Seattle. They have no run game and their secondary is a weakness.

I did not see much of the Seahawk game so I can honestly say that I am not sure what to expect. My father in-law is a diehard Rams fan and I didn’t pry too much after the loss as I did not want him to feel like I was rubbing it in. I did however ask him “so, in your estimation are the Seahawks really that good this year or are the Rams that bad?”

His answer was he felt the Seahawks were that good. Now that could just him trying to stay upbeat but we can usually talk football pretty honestly and he knows the game well.

I just have a feeling that this game is not only going to be a tough one, it is going to be a much tougher than the one we had against Arizona .

From only the preseason and a single regular season game I am not ready to crown any team the best or the worst.

Did you watch their game?

I say this on every thread who cares who they pick to win ignore that crap they are predicting on their opinions, not so much of respect we will get respect win people start putting us and playoffs in the same sentence. The hawks fans and the team thinks the same way we do that they will come win at our house and take a 2 game lead in the nfc west.
