Long story short, it was his daughters birthday and she wanted to go to the Miley Cyrus show in Oakland. I still do a little ticket sales on the side now and because these tickets were "paperless", meaning you had to go the door and swipe your card to get the print outs to walk in, I had to escort him and his family in to the show. I spoke with his wife off and on for the past few weeks and she kept on saying her husband was skeptical but they were going forward anyways. He looked way older in person and with the whole walk up to the door without tickets probably wasnt making him too happy (on top of being stuck at a Miley show with thousands of screaming girls). I decided to keep quiet about me knowing who he was until he saw the tickets working. When he walked in with his tickets he looked back and finally shook my hand, told him I hoped to see him on the field sunday at half. I guess just his wife and son were going though.
Bottom line even people who are well off are skeptical of scalpers haha.
