View Full Version : Online Madden games have 7 min qtrs now?

I have not played Madden in almost a month & get online today & play 2 games & It took me a half game to realise that the qtrs were 7 minutes long now. They used to be 5 min. Why & when was this changed? it's not a big deal just caught me by surprise.

Yeah I noticed too. I'd prefer 5 minutes because now my games are really high scoring and they take too long

Standard from what I seen is 7 mins with 15 second accelerated clock.

Lol.It goes by fast though because there a 15 sec takeaway when you pick your play quickly which for me is good because i memorized most of the playbook.

theyve always had accel. clock. games are a little longer but not too bad.

I have only played like 2 Madden games in the last week because of this. The games are way longer now. 5 minutes was perfect IMO.

I would have preferred they kept it at 5 minutes and removed the accellerated clock, but this makes games a better length nonetheless. It was just too short before.
