what do you say? we need a guy like him to shore up some of our offensive line problems. he is a pro-bowler. tenth year in the nfl, doesnt miss games with injuries. weighs in at 320,bass could either go to right guard or snyder. pashos will take over at Rt. k.c. said that everyone on their team is on the block! Except cassel and their new de!:handshake:

baas has been dealing with an ankle injury, but if you haven't been watching in pre-season when we were running the ball so well where was we running it. Uh right behind david baas!

Chiefs o-line is horrendous and Waters has been no exception this year.

Baas has been very in the run game
(he was the key blocker on the two 75+ Gore runs against Seattle)

not so hot in pass protection, though he's given up less sacks than Snyder and Rachal

I dont see how a pro-bowler could hurt being on a team that needs protection! and we need a guy like that so we can do better on offense. so we can win against the cream of the crop teams!

I honestly like Rachal, but he is young and is making mistakes. When he is on his game, he levels opponents. But you have to realize that he was a center when we drafted him. He is still learning the RG position. He should get better, and I can honestly see him as a pro-bowler if he improves his protection. As far as blocking, he can pancake anybody.

As far as Baas, he was one of our best linemen last year, and since he missed most of pre-season he might be rusty (especially with that ankle injury).

Aside from that I honestly think it might be the OL coach. We have all the talent in the world in our OL (except at RT, but they are getting it done somewhat well), but we can't run or pass block right now.

Wurd. Besides, he's only got half a year starting experience under his belt - a year that most agreed should have been spent at USC, no less. Dude's still growing into the role.

Chiloscuses?

what are you going to say if he allows a sack to lose one of the important games of the season because we were too stubborn to get a veteran that can get it done instead of all these fortune teller people that think he will do a good job!

Rachal is fine one or two games isn't going to stop this kid. He's gonna be a beast.

Wish we could get a guy like Waters but I wouldn't give up the farm. If he was a FA I'd make a play at him.

Giving up as many sacks as we have this season and only one more week to go after someone! I hope They get better as a unit otherwise were in for another long season! I dont know about the rest of our fanbase but i want the best players we can possibly get to give us the best shot to go to the show! I'm tired of being the laughing stock of the nfl! If players arent getting it done you got to make the moves! More money pours into the organization the better players and team you have so its a push if you have to spend a little cash to get good players!

What exactly do you think would be the price for Waters? You think KC is just going to give him up cheap? Do you really think this team is so close to a SB that going out and paying future picks and young players for a LG who is now three years or so past his prime is a good idea?

I'd give a 4th for him and I'd have to think about it too.

He's 32, and within 3 years of retirement I dont think any one in the FO would consider him for trade.

He was a GREAT LG, he is an average one now and not that much better than whats already on the roster.

pretty sure Rachal was never a center.
