So far the NFC West looks like


1. 49ers ( 3 - 1 )
2. Cardinals ( 1 - 2 )
3. Seahawks ( 1 - 3 )
4. Rams ( 0 - 4 )



Tomorrow's Opponents
________________________

Falcons @ 49ers
Houston @ Arizona
Jacksonville @ Seattle
Minnesota @ Rams


Lets say we beat the Falcons, what are the chances that all the other teams lose this week? I think it is very possible, and if this were to happen the NFC West would look like.

1. 49ers ( 4 - 1 )
2. Cardinals ( 1 - 3 )
3. Seahawks ( 1 - 4 )
4. Rams ( 0 - 5 )

We would take the west easily if this were to happen this weekend. That and this pretty much proves the NFC West is possibly the worst Division in football

Either Seattle is playing well, or Arizona, or us. All 3 need to get it together one year.

IMO.. I can see Seattle and St. Louis losing. However I doubt Arizona will lose to Houston, though it would be nice if they did, I just don't see it happening.

I really don't think Arizona is as bad as they've looked so far. They drove down on the colts quite well, but turned the ball over twice in the redzone or that game could have been a lot closer. We can't sleep on them.

How do you think Seattle earned five division titles in the past decade? Good for you guys though because I'm tired of all of these seaphag fans trying to talk smack to me. I hope they keep it up.........

for the entire season. Don't worry what other teams do. Just take care of business on our side and let other teams worry about us.

Arizona should beat Houston at home. They've got a better chance of winning today than the 49ers IMO.

As nice as it would be to stroll into the playoffs, I don't want us to be that team that only made the PO because every other team in the division was terrible. I'd want some competition... but only if we come out on top.

I feel the same way. We want to feel that we've "earned" the right to be in the playoffs, not because we suck less but because we have played good, smart, tough football. That said, we are a relatively weak division and some people will have that perception:trophies:.

IMO regardless of how weak our Division is if we win some games outside our division and on the road and compete in the ones we dont win, and Handle the Next 3 games in our division as good or better than the first time or at least look like the complete team i feel we are building towards. Than we will have earned it and can feel good about it. again IMO

I want to see Seattle knocked out of contention. I'm really hoping for a loss on their behalf today. But above all, we need to win this game. This is very important for us as a team. We're yet to beat a winning opponent and a win today would eliminate the sour tastes from our mouths.

It looks like Arizona just won their game with a big play by DRC. Today went about as bad as one could for a 49er fan. The division is up for grabs.

Eh...we're still 3-0 in our division.

As long as we beat the team they're beating, and they all get whopped by the teams that beat us, we'll still take the division.

i'm just hoping to win the west and get a game of playoff experience under our belts.

then in the off season:
fix the o line problems
add another star player
fix the qb problem
add depth all around

then next season we are DANGEROUS

that's the bottom line really...yeah it would be nice to win a big gm(@ home) but u cant get into the playoffs if u dont take care of your div 1st...
