What Hanson says he never saw coming was an alleged violent attack by Cable the following morning that left him with a fractured jaw and a polluted relationship with the franchise he has loved since childhood.

“From my blindside, Tom Cable threw me from my chair and into a piece of furniture that a lamp sat upon,” Hanson told Yahoo! Sports Friday during an extensive interview at a Bay Area restaurant. “He was screaming, ‘I’ll f——- kill you! I’ll f——- kill you!’ And I have no reason to believe he wouldn’t have killed me if they hadn’t pulled him away.

I knew he threw a punch of some sort, but I didn't believe Tom Cable was this insane.

After reading that, I am amazed he still has a job. A civilian with lower status than an NFL head coach would already be in jail.

I wikied Tom Cable, he's a nobody coach. No experience coaching at the NFL ranks. I think Al hired him because nobody else would take the job.

Napa police has the goods on Tom Cable. Tom's best deal is to just plead guilty - probably to some lesser charge. I don't think the Napa police wants do deal with this either, they have the Hansen interviews and the other coaches interviews and would have brought charges already if they really wanted to nail Tom Cable. <shrug>

The Rauders must surprise even themselves once in a while, they just keep topping themselves.. And it'll happen again mind you, when they replace Cable with an even bigger *****...

That's OK, his life will be threatened by Al Davis.

Al Davis was kinda like a thug back in the 'ol Sid Gillman days.
