37-6.

Tommy Harris just dominated the whole SEAHAWKS' Offensive line. What are the repercussion on our next game? Are the BEARS for "real"? Are the SEAHAGS a fluke?

What's your take on this one?

If Rex Grossman stays healthy I think so..........

Things are looking up on GROSSMAN these days and they have been protecting him rather good. Everything hinges on him or else.....

I want to hear from LARGE ANT about this game vs the BEARS, if SHAUN would have made any difference if he was there.....
In a close game MAYBE. That game no..............

I think he could have made a difference, but the outcome would probably be closer but still a loss. I would imagine that Shaun can alter the Offensive play selections and thus influencing the BEARS DEFENSE to RUN DEFENSE instead of turning on the PASS RUSH THE WHOLE NIGHT.

But the offensive line for the Seahawks were horrendous!
Shaun really hadn't been much of a factor in their first couple of games...I don't think he would've made much of a difference...maybe they get one more TD or so.

Whoa, whoa, now...you have to make the playoffs first son.
Um, who in this division is going to stop the seahawks from doing that?

Right now, the Bears are the best team in the NFL period.

The Bears have only given up 29 total points, which is the best in the leage.

The Bears have score 116 total points, which is 3rd best in the league.

And here is the interesting part 116-29= 87 more points scored than given up.

No other team in the NFL comes close to that differential.

A few other teams:

Scored - Given up= Difference
Pats : 88 - 64 = 24
Ravens: 86 - 33 = 53
Colts : 121 - 87 = 34
Eagles : 117 - 73 = 44
Hawks : 78 - 83 = -5

The Bears on average are beating their opponents by 21 points per game.
No one else is coming close to that.

LEINHART! :gathering:

Arizona just decided to concede the division by going to Leinart. STL has an outside chance of competing with SEA, but it's still SEA's division to lose.

too soon to tell, the hawks have shown twice this year they can be dominated on both sides of the ball, once against the lions and then a whoopin from da bears. There seems to be a few teams in the NFC i feel have a shot at making it to the show, seattle is not showing they are the best, in fact imo the list is more like..bears, philly, dallas then seattle/giants but again this was just week 4. let's see what happens comes december.

Even with the spanking of the Seahawks the Bears defense isn't playing as well as last year. But they don't have to. The offense is killing people right now. I'm guessing that they'll be the hot story for the rest of the regular season as the laughably easy schedule they have makes them look great:

Oct 8 Buffalo 1:00pm 130 119
Oct 16 @Arizona 8:30pm 125 123
Week 7 BYE
Oct 29 San Francisco 1:00pm 130 119
Nov 5 Miami 1:00pm 144
Nov 12 @N.Y. Giants 1:00pm 147 152
Nov 19 @N.Y. Jets 1:00pm 146 146
Nov 26 @New England 1:00pm 117 107
Dec 3 Minnesota 1:00pm 146 123
Dec 11 @St. Louis 8:30pm 125 123
Dec 17 Tampa Bay 1:00pm 125
Dec 24 @Detroit 1:00pm 122 181
Dec 31 Green Bay 1:00pm 143 147

Then will come the playoffs and they'll have to fight through good teams and we'll have a better idea about just how good they are. And that's IF Grossman doesn't break like fine china hitting a stone floor.

At New England will be a loss.

Probably. But that's the only serious challenge on their remaining schedule.

mark anderson had 2 sacks in that game and now has 3.5 sacks on the year. anyone else think we should've drafted him in the 5th instead of parys?

He's doing better because he was drafted into a defense that was already best in the league. Makes his job easier.
