he is officially a chicago bear too now, as per adam schefter. since the panthers declined to match the offer sheet. chicago cannot take back the offer sheet, only ricky manning jr can write written consent to have the contract terminated.

He's okay. The only time I've ever really seen him shine though was when he intercepted Donovan McNabb three times in the 2003 NFC championship game.
Thats where he got his fame. Didnt he lose his starting job last year when Fitzgerald had like 150 yds before Half. And Ken Lucas stepped in the 2nd half and held Fitzgerald to like 30 yds or something?

From what I heard, He and a group of friends went into a denny's around 3 am in westwood and started harrasing a dude on his laptop. When the guy "asked" them to stop Manning socked him in the jaw and the rest of the guys stomped and kicked him. Then then fled and were pulled over and Manning was identified by the victim. He's charged with aggravated assualt with a deadly weapon. The weapon was his posse. Pretty dumb thing to do if you ask me. And he's an NFL player......... What the heck was he doing at Denny's???

first of all manning sucks. i dont care what anyone else says. like someone else mentioned already, the only reason anyone even knows who he is is because he picked McNabb 3 times that NFC Championship game. Since then... please tell me what has he done? Nothing. This guy sucks and is an ***** for pulling such a stupid stunt. :angry:
