Not bad but here are my thoughts on a some of your picks.....
- Pretty ballsy to have Detroit taking a WR
- Feel like you made Zibby a reach
- Doubt Pitcock lasts until round 2
- Not sure why you have Baltimore picking two WR's in Round 1
- Feel that Steve Smith is a pretty big reach
- Feel like Brandon Mebane is a pretty big reach
- Not sure if Antoine Cason is even eligible (Isn't he a soph. ?)
- Don't think KC goes QB, i think they like Brodie Croyle as their future

Thanks for the input i will look into Cason being eligible.......Zibby your right may be a reach.......I Thought Mebane was a pretty high rated DT thats why hes there........Pitcock i had where Mebane is and i choose Mebane over him......KC i forgot had Croyle.........Ravens was a typo i left someone off......As far as Detroit goes Calvin Johnson sitting there will have the Lions salivating at the mouth and we know how they love recievers......Smith is a guy i feel his stock will rise to late first early second.........HOLYYYY ****T i forgot to put the Texans up there hahahhahaha

I'll go in depth about it once I finish this game of NCAA online.
However, I am very high on Eric Weddle and do like the Gaines Adams pick.
how about David Irons from Auborn in the 3rd round thats about where Ive seen him projected but i like him alot hes a big hitter and pretty good cover guy.

There is NO WAY detroit takes ANOTHER WR. I can see them taking a QB though since Kitna won't play much longer.
9ers pick is ok, but I rather trade down and take Landry or Merriweather if we can't get CJ. CB is also really needed.

10th, thats pretty cocky, i dont know if were that good. I hope not, but im guessing we'll pick around 4-6. Anyways, should we actually pick 10th - i like that pick (Adams).

Do you think Gaines Adams or Quentin Moses would be a better fit for the Niners?

I'm not really a college guy....I'm an NFL guy....so I'll point this out...
The Saints have a good young saftey tandem so I don't see them going safety in round 1.
The Panthers have a good young CB tandem and drafted Richard Marshall in the 2nd round this year....I don't see them going CB in round 1.

ADAMS does not fit in a 3-4 defense. we will probabaly be picking at the 6 or 7 spot and Landry is the best pick for us on D. None of the corners are top 10 pick worthy.

Leon Hall with good workouts will be a top 10 pick, Antoine Cason if he declares could be a possible top 10 pick.
Yeah Mario Williams had good work outs and he seems to be doing great, yeah right. Antoine cason is where i agree, he could[B][B] be a top 10 pick, but probably wont declare.

You could say that for just about everybody else in the draft.
"X had good workouts... he's doing ok" or "he's a star".
"Y had a bad workout... he's lighting it up"... Remember Anquan Boldin? Posted a 4.60ish 40-yard dash and is doing quite well to me.

There is no doubt in my mind he will be a top 15 pick, but to be a top 10 pick at corner you have to completley dominate the college ranks. The corner position is totally different in the NFL. Dont get me wrong he is a realy good player just IMO he is not great value at a pic in the top 10, he will be there at pic 12 or 13.

I know, what i meant was the workout are not the best at judging a players talent. Anquan Boldin was on top of my list for recievers the year he entered the draft, and Bryant Johnson wasnt even on my top 5.

Well other then the fact that he's a strong point on the nations most dominant defense, has held his own against elite recievers, has solid size, great tackling skills, good hitting skills, elite coverage skills, excellent leadership, and is as impressive off the field as he is on the field.. Don't be surprise if he sneaks to 8-9.
Edit: Had a typo, I ment recievers not corners.
What elite recievers?

What great offenses has Mich. even faced....and dont tell me Mich. state who always self destruct!!.....11/18 if he shuts down Ginn in a man to man coverage then he is cosidered top 10( i dont consider Ginn an elite reciever, yet, but he is the best Hall will matc up against.

Covering Jeff Samarizijda and Rhema McKnight, two very respectable wideouts who will be first day picks -- Jeff S. could possibly be a first rounder(though I'm beginning to doubt it), Leon Hall gave up a total of.. Dun Dun Dun
0 Catches -- He had 3 pass deflections and 1 interception
That's it for first day wideouts/top offenses, but he rarely gets the ball thrown at his side, and really hasn't allowed anything this season, no touchdowns, only a couple catches, several PD's, he's a big reason why Michigans run D is first, he is a complete corner and a great prospect at that
Last year he allowed 2 catches from Brandon Williams both for small gains who was a third round pick, nothing from Jonathan Orr
Santonio Holmes had a small day against him, Ted Ginn last year was only given a couple quick passes for small gains..
Right now he's the most shut down in the country with elite talent, he hasn't had a bad game this year at all and was terrific last year.. I'm just saying, don't be surprised if he's a top 10 pick.
And im just saying top 10 corners are cover corners like Champ Bailey, Deangelo Hall Antrell Rolle etc. There are no unbelieveable cover corners of that nature this year. He is the best corner in the draft. Ginn wasnt the player he is now when they met last year, and Santonio Holmes is overrated. Jeff Samar....whatever his name is, is nothing special, he is an average reciever who is overrated just like his team. Brandon Williams and Jonathan Orr are nice players. And while yeah he could be a top 10 pick, the way teams make ***** picks now a days, he is not worthy of a top 10 pic. Im happy with Daymeion Hughes in the Second round. Oh yeah i like the way you said Jeff Samarizijda and Rhema McKnight are respectable recievers and not ELITE recievers like you first mentioned

Yeah Elite
Antrelle Rolle a cover corner? Lmfao. They might be converting him to safety and he almost never played in man coverage at Miami, but great job calling him a cover corner. Quentin Jammer wasn't exactly a cover corner. Terrence Newman who had a very similar style to Leon Hall was a top 10 pick.
True that. Now I'm having flashbacks of Mike Rumph.

Do I consider him a top 10 pick yet? No, unless he absolutely lights it up in workouts. However, do I think he could potentially be a top 10 pick in this draft? Certainly. Right now I'd have him in the 11-13 range though.
Daymeion Hughes in the second? Good luck with that one.
Rhema McKnight and Jeff Samarzidja are both first day picks, Jeff S. is going to be a first/second.. and when they have a lock for a top 3 pick throwing to them.. well it's pretty impressive that he has been as good as he has with how much teams throw on them.
Jammer is in his 5th year now and still hasnt lived up to the poetential, neman is in what his forth? and what has he done? Newman is a good player but nothing special. Being a first day pick means what? Nothing! Neither of them have been elite players in college, so how are they suppost do do that in the nfl. Jeff Samarzidja will not be a 1st round pick, Mid to late 2nd. Notre Dame Is OVERRATED!!!!

lol, my thoughts exactly. Antrelle Rolle probably couldn't even cover a senior citizen.

Notre Dame might be overrated but samarzidja is not, if he convinces nfl brass that he is going to concentrate on football, he will be a 1 rounder, big target, deceptive speed, and good hands all say he will.

Me either, Moses and Adams IMO are to small to play DE in a 3-4 defense. Laron Landry, Antoine Cason, or Leon Hall would be the better picks. Frank Okam or Alan Branch would be better picks to play NT or DE in the 3-4. I wouldn't mind the 49ers picking WR Jason Hill in round 2 if he's available. I think the only two offensive picks the 49ers should go for in the draft is WR and OL and then pick defense with all other picks.

Irons is easily in the top corners in the NCAA. Pretty sure he is a redshirt sophmore (which would mean he is eligible to go in to the draft) too....kid has rediculous speed and plays coverage exceptionally well.

you as well as most people are missing where those two would play. both Moses and Adams would be drafted and converted to OLB in a 3-4. they are more ideal OLB size in a 3-4 because they are big enough to stop the run as well as fast enough to rush the passer.
they are the ideal tweener players for a 3-4 so stop considering these guys for 3-4 DE. both of which i think would play very well in a 3-4 OLB position like McGinist, Merriman, or Ware.
Actually I'm not missing where those two would play....I think the original poster is wanting to take one of them to play the DE position. If he's talking about drafting one of them to play OLB for the 49ers then that would be dumb anyway because OLB isn't their most pressing need. NT, CB, or FS should be their pick in the first round. Right now, Branch, Okam, and Carriker are probably the best prospects to play DE in the 3-4.

Branch looks like he will be the best DT in the draft if he decides to enter and Okam a close second followed by Carriker and pitcock and possibly Mebane
