The folks here put together leagues. Yahoo is the best in my opinion, and it's free. Really easy to learn if you get with the right league.

FFL Draft, bro. You setup a list of what players you like in order of preference, a random draft order is selected prior to the draft, and the system will give you the highest guy available on your list when it is your turn to pick. Or you can do live draft where you make the actual pick, which is also a lot more fun. This is basically like a big chatroom setup where you pick the guy yuo want when its your turn.

yeah yahoo is the best. felix's league is hard and a real challege, but it's fun playing with fellow niner MB members. i've only played one year, but im hoping i still got a spot for this year's because i only gave up mine last year because of OCS

I took a year off in 2005 as well, bro. Got tired of trying to stay on top of my teams and listening to the 15-year olds threaten to go gangsta on anyone who rejected a trade proposal.:nolisten: CiggyDaKatt is my official FFL representative.:survivor:

I've found when you form leagues from your own fans (from your own message boards) that the free leagues end up more fun than playing with a bunch of people you don't know. I host a dynasty league and a keeper league from a couple of message boards and the guys are all active and mature....its good stuff.

That wouldn't apply to 80% of the people from this MB.:clapping: We had 12 teams the first year. 3 participated, 6 of them never touched their teams after the draft, and the last 3 tried to battle on the FFL message board by rapping against each other. Yes... rapping. It was a complete waste of 5 months.

Was this last year, because Jiggy was in our league 2 years ago and went ghetto on us. First time a 15-year old has ever threatened to drive his Range Rover to my house and bring his posse to beat me up because I wouldn't give him back Dom Davis for Quentin Griffin.:ahh: Ahhh... the memories.

AHH YES I too was told I'd get a GAT in my face, no I was new to the board last year and found myself in a leage with Jiggaplaya (or something) and he and another just went off about Florida gangstas VS S.F. ones it was entertaining for a bit. Same with this league 5/12 people actually participated after the draft. Though made it quite easy to run away with the title! MUhahahah muahahah, a rapidly aproaching middle aged balding guy took those gangstas Down!

Thing is, a lot of people can't stand smack talk, and opt to dismiss the league. I've seen tens of players who get bashed at because of a bad draft, or a lopsided trade. Heck, in some cases all it takes is to lose the first three games of the season.

It isn't just the gangsta thing.

that's alot better than those people that start to trade away all their good players for scrubs and upset the balance of the league...

ya atleast they have no trade policy on the really good players. but yea that is such a ***** move.

Haa haaa... good ole Jigga. He told me his dad was going to look up my address in his top secret files at work so he could come beat me up. He also told us his dad bought him an $80,000 SUV, that he was going to win the Heisman, and that he was a real man for standing up to me. The whole thing started because someone busted his chops about his draft and he tried to rap to them to put them in place. Oh, and taking Marvin Harrison, Rad Chad Johnson, and Domanick Davis in exchange for 2 crappy RBs and 1 decent one really pushed him over the edge. We traded the day after Griffin rumbled for like 150 yards and 3 TDs on SNF, and when the dude got benched the next week for fumbling, he insisted I give him all his players back. Good times, man! Good times.

Honestly, I doubt I play again. Takes too much time, half the people don't participate, and the other half are usually fools who try and ruin the league if things don't go their way. Plus, I went 13-1 the last time we had a league and lost in round 1 of the playoffs to Billy Freakin' Volek and his 5 TDs, and that was with 99% of the Pro Bowl players on my roster. Blasphemy!

I am interested in possibly joining a league w/ ppl from this messageboard. I have to say you are right it is nice playing against some ppl that you know and ppl who actually take an interest in the league. Nothing worse than a person who does't even check in on their team. Although it does sound like last year things got a bit out of hand w/ you guys. ppl threatening to shoot one another over a game is taking it a little bit far.

I would be interested in a fantasy league with MB members. I'm fairly hardcore in that I check my stuff multiple times a week, regardless of how my team shapes up after the draft. I can be contacted at pbyrne43@hotmail.com if you have a spot open.

I run/commish two private leagues. I'm thinking about starting a Dynasty League, and perhaps there are 10-12 COMMITTED members here that would be interetsed. I have about 9 people in mind, but not all may be interested.

Once the initial draft is completed, the majority of the work is done for future seasons. You'll carry your entire roster over to the following season. From there, we'll open a free agent period, where the teams with the worst records get priority to drop/add players. Then, we'd do a rookie draft. After the initial free agency period, and rookie draft, teams will have a set time frame to make final cuts to get to the maximum roster requirements. This will in turn open a new run on free agents (similar to 6/1 cuts in the NFL) where teams can drop/add players. The rest is run like a regular FFL.

I don't know.

I run mine on a privately ran FF site--> http://myfantasyfootball.com/

I paid 50 dollars to start my leagues 4 years ago, and their price keeps going up, but my cost stays the same. They cater to the quirky rules that we've evolved in my leagues. They also are extremely user friendly for simpletons like myself. I've played on other site's, but this one has all the tools I desire.

Never played in a dynasty league... sounds like it could be real interesting. If you have extra space i would be interested. I usually play single season yahoo league. Found i like their interface. Do you guys usually play w/ defensive players as part of your set up? I have found i truly like playing w/ both offense and defensive players so i was curious what most of you guys do?

I don't know how their feud started... but that's how it ended... LOL

That was the coolest thing ever. They had like 10 responses to each other with nothing about race, politics, star wars, and gangstas. Plus the N wurd every 5 seconds.

I had another league and Jigga was in it and he got into it with my friend and kept saying "If you don't back the "F" up I'm gonna go 16's wit ya boi from Da Sco."
