Coach Nolan came out to the draft party & said Vernon Davis' # will be 85. He even encouraged us to go out & buy his jersey! And I'm pretty sure Manny Lawson will be 99 - he can't take his college # & he's taken pics w/ the #99.

The coach probably wants us to get our minds out of the old #85, and concentrate on our new #85. That's cool though.

i just searched all over nflshop and all i saw for 49er authentic jerseys was a barlow jersey and an old throwback. i want a lawson authentic jersey with the cut off sleeves like in the front page pic!! how do i get one?

The other way to confirm the jersey number is to look at the roster on the team's homepage.

They already have a number for everyone but Larry Allen. Go figure. :laugh:

That's strange, he has always worn #73 both in College and in Dallas. I don't see anybody wearing that number on the roster.

They used to have the authentic ones up on 49er Shop and NFL Shop but they don’t seem to be up there any more. I bet that the closer we get to the season starting they will be made available again. The merchandise tends to change periodically.
