Hey just wanted to wish you guys luck this week and hope we have a nice game with no injuries. I'm from a message board
www.glorifythepast.com, we would love to debate or chat wit you. but any who this should be a good game, frank gore versus shawne merriman I can't wait to see this game. Talk to you later
Gonna be a battle, that's for sure. I'd love to see our secondary step up the way they did against St. Louis and make this a ground battle on both sides. Either way, Luis Castillo could have a pretty huge day going against Kwame Harris (although they said that about Leonard Little, Derrick Burgess and Chike Okeafor, too).

LOL. Yeah, if y'all could pass it on along to the Rams in a couple weeks, we'd sure appreciate it... :D

You guys should really make that throwback / alternate look permanent. That's a great look.

Exactly! We need a pass rush!
If the Chiefs held us scoreless, and the Chargers have even a better defense than the Chiefs, keeping this game close or showing any type of ball control would mean the world to us.

All I know is that I want us to win but LT to do well...he is my fantasy stud.

Yup... second best unis ever, taking a back seat only to the 80s Niners (just like everything else in NFL history, except maybe the '94 Niners - but like I need to tell a Charger fan that :fishing: )

I hope the Niners can stay close and have a chance at pulling one out at the end. Hopefully they don't come out flat like they have been all season and let the Bolts put the game away early.

As impressed as I am by the Bolts this season, I'm hoping that San Diego's coaching is conservative enough and ours is aggressive enough to keep us in the game.
Heck, one might have thought that the Eagles would have routed the Cowboys last week, and who would have thought that Indianapolis would have nearly lost to the Titans?
Regardless - I'm hoping for an exciting game with lots of good plays, big numbers on both sides, and no injuries. And, of course, the big "W" on the Niners side.

I used to have a Chargers banner with the throwback helmets hanging on my wall as a kid.

Hi All,
Another Charger fan here…even though most of my buddies are 49er fans. At any rate, the Chargers have a very strong team, and only expected to get better over the years…I can almost guarantee they will not look past a much improved 49ers team this year. Plus, I would never put anything past SF at home. Best of luck guys, may the best team win this Sunday!! I will be glued to the TV set. I really think it will be a very good and close game, and although I expect the Chargers to triumph, I do feel a bit apprehensive playing you guys at home…This is the future for a building Charger team, but I still sorely remember the great 49er past.

Well, despite the bravado threads that no doubt say how we'll win, blah, blah, blah... Most of us, while we'd be thrilled with an "on any given Sunday" win, are probably a bit more realisitic and just hope we compete well and give you a scare. This year (obviously) isn't going to be our year while your team is playing at a very high level.

Yeah, i wouldnt be the least bit surprised to lose by 20+, but i'd be happy if we could keep it within 10 points.

I agree. I hope we win, but don't really see it happening.

Even a close loss, within 10, should garner us some respect around the league as a team not to take lightly.
And like it's been said.....if you let an underdog hang around long enough, they start to believe they will win!:sflogo:

Welcome to the 9er boards "Bolts#1."
I have to say I am very impressed with your team this year and have a lot of admiration for guys like Merriman, Neal and LT.
I have family in the SD area. All 4 of my nephews were born there although only the oldest is a Chargers fan. The rest follow their dad and root for the Raiders. I will tell you the oldest is having a good time letting his dad know on a daily basis how bad his team sucks.
Thanks for the well wishes… back at cha.
