I love mock draft so I am posting hella of them so see what people think our biggest needs are and for people to get to know the players available. Here is one made specifically for week 5. Made by just a normal person not an "expert". The 9ers also got respect b/c they aren't even in the top ten. http://www.nflanswers.com/article.php?story=200610091906074

1. Oakland Raiders (0-4)-Brady Quinn//Notre Dame
With so many question marks at the quarterback position in Oakland, it is impossible to imagine the franchise passing up on another franchise player the way they did with Matt Leinart. Quinn has all the tools to merit the number one pick and should be the only candidate the Raiders look at come draft day.

2. Tennessee Titans (0-5)-Joe Thomas//Wisconsin
The Titans are low on depth along the offensive line and Thomas would put Michael Roos back to the right tackle position where he has silently succeeded. This pick would bookend the offensive line greatly.

3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-4)-Quentin Moses//Georgia
The current defensive ends, Simeon Rice and Greg Spires are getting up there in age and there are rumors of Rice potentially leaving soon while Spires is average at best. Moses brings in some young blood to the position and a pass rush specialist to provide pressure on opposing quarterbacks.

4. Detroit Lions (0-4)-Drew Stanton//Michigan State
The quarterback position has been a problem for the Lions for quiet some time. With the fourth pick, they take a local produce in Stanton and pin all of their hopes on him of leading them to the playoffs in the future.

5. Green Bay Packers (1-4)-Adrian Peterson//Oklahoma
Make no mistake, Peterson will be a top 3 pick in the draft. With no other teams in need of a running back, the Packers get lucky and land the phenom from Oklahoma who has tore up opposing defenses for large amounts of yardage and touchdowns day in and day out.

6. Cleveland Browns (1-3)-Calvin Johnson//Georgia Tech
Like Peterson, Johnson will be a top 3 pick or top 5 at the worst. The Browns have drafted plenty of offensive playmakers in Charlie Frye, Braylon Edwards, and Kellen Winslow Jr. The addition not only gives them a great value pick but another dimension to the offense that will cause defenses to single cover their dangerous receivers.

7. Arizona Cardinals (1-4)-Jared Gaither//Maryland
The Cardinals are in for another year of retooling their offensive line but this year they get a first round draft pick. Gaither brings in a lot of talent and potential to a line that has struggled for so long. He could possibly start from day one.

8. Miami Dolphins (1-4)- Paul Posluszny//Penn State
The current linebackers on the Dolphins are nothing special so they take one of the best products from the Linebacker U. Posluszny will upgrade the outside linebackers crops. in terms of intensity and talent.

9. Houston Texans (1-3)-LaRon Landry//LSU
The current safeties manning the two positions for the Texans just won’t cut it defensively. Landry who could have been a possible first rounder last year spent another year and college and makes it into the first half of this year’s draft. He is for sure to start in the Texans scheme.

10. Pittsburgh Steelers (1-3)-Michael Bush//Louisville
This may seem a little high for Bush because of his ankle injury especially with Marshawn Lynch on board, but Bush has all the tools to be the next Jerome Bettis. In addition, the Steelers won the Super Bowl rushing with Willie Parker AND Jerome Bettis so adding a power back would make a lot of sense here.

11. Kansas City Chiefs (2-2)-Ted Ginn Jr.//Ohio State
The Chiefs could definitely use an infusion of young talent at the wide receiver position so they take Ginn with the eleventh pick. He could possibly start but would get a good amount of playing time with the current Chief wide receivers.

12. Dallas Cowboys (2-2)-Brian Brohm//Louisville
The Cowboys are in need of a future signal caller and they are lucky enough to land Brohm with this pick. Brohm has the intangibles and the battle tested career to merit such a pick so this would make a lot of sense for the Cowboys.

13. New York Giants (2-2)-Frank Okam//Texas
The Giants lack playmakers to compliment their flurry of defensive ends in Michael Strahan, Osi Omenyori, and Mathias Kiwanuka. Okam will be accounted on to make a push from the interior and add some bulk to their defensie line.

14. Buffalo Bills (2-3)-Levi Jones//Penn State
The Bills just missed out on Brian Brohm so they are forced to give J.P. Losman another chance. Hey, why not make it a fighting chance? They draft Jones to finally give their quarterback some protection up front.

15. San Francisco 49ers (2-3)-Gaines Adams//Clemson
At this point, the 49ers merely need to add the best talent available and Adams can be a top 10 pick come draft day. He has excellent speed and can make the move to the outside linebacker position in the 3-4 scheme.

16. New York Jets (2-3)-Marshawn Lynch//California
With a small need for running backs, the Jets are lucky to find Lynch this late in the first round. Lynch who is a potential top 10 pick has a load of talent and will bring stability to the backfield of the Jets after they’ve tried Derrick Blaylock, Leon Washington, and Kevan Barlow to name a few.

17. Washington Redskins (2-3)-Marcus McCauley//Fresno State
The Redskins lack a lot of depth in the secondary so adding McCauley gives them a legit nickel corner in case any of their top 3 corners get injured.

18. Carolina Panthers (3-2)-Patrick Willis//Ole Mississippi
The Panthers have issues at linebacker with Will Witherspoon leaving via free agency and Dan Morgan always getting hurt. Enter Willis who start immediately with the loads of talent he possesses.

19. Jacksonville Jaguars (3-2)-Justin Blalock//Texas
The Jaguars could use some help along the offensive line so they call upon Blalock to protect Byron Leftwich and block for Fred Taylor, Maurice Drew, and Greg Jones.

20. Minnesota Vikings (3-2)-Dwayne Jarrett/USC
Koren Robinson was cut and Troy Williamson is yet to perform up to the top 10 status the Vikings selected him with. Jarrett shows more potential and comes from a team with a winning attitude so pair Jarrett with Williamson and the Vikings have a talented young wide receiver duo for the future.

21. New Orleans Saints (3-1)-Brandon Siler//Florida
For years the Saints have been looking for linebackers in the draft but have never taken any in the first round. It is time they address this need so they take Siler at this point in the draft.

22. Denver Broncos (3-1)-Alan Branch//Michigan
The Broncos have done well with the marginal talent they have along the defensive line but they could use a legit first rounder to upgrade the depth and talent. Branch has been productive and will give the Broncos a push up the interior of the line.

23. New England Patriots (from SEA) (3-1)-Leon Hall//Michigan
This pick comes from the Seahawks after the Patriots traded them Deion Branch. Hall, like Ty Law, is a talented cornerback from Michigan. The Patriots hope they can gain some cornerback stability with the young cornerback who can hopefully play like Law.

24. San Diego Chargers (3-1)-Sydney Rice//South Carolina
The Chargers wide receivers are solid but unspectacular so adding Rice this late in the first round should be a steal. Rice’s production has been off the charts for a freshman and will give the Chargers another star in their offense consisting of Phillip Rivers, LT, and Antonio Gates.

25. Atlanta Falcons (3-1)-Quinn Pit*censored*//Ohio State
Pit*censored* is a run-stuffer that will fill it up in the middle for the Falcons alongside Rod Coleman. The current starts for the Falcons at NT have been marginal at best and Pit*censored* can improve this unit.

26. New England Patriots (4-1)-Jeff Samardzija//Notre Dame
After trading away Deion Branch, the Patriots have looked for ways to keep their wide receivers stable. They signed Jabar Gaffney but they should really look into drafting a receiver for the future. Samardzija is a Charlie Weis product and should fit well with the Patriots.

27. St. Louis Rams (4-1)-Michael Griffin//Texas
The Rams have issues of depth and talent at safety and Griffin is one of the most talented safeties that should garner a first round pick if he stays healthy.

28. Cincinnati Bengals (3-1)-Greg Olsen//Miami
The Bengals can use that extra dimension of having a pass catching tight end in their offense. Olsen gets the nod over Miller after a great game Saturday.

29. Philadelphia Eagles (4-1)-Daymeion Hughes//California
The Eagles have quality starters at the cornerback position and even a pro-bowl talent in Lito Sheppard. However, they remain thing behind the two starters and can use some quality depth. Hughes has made big plays so far this year and should be a candidate for the Thorpe Award.

30. Baltimore Ravens (4-1)-Brandon Meriweather//Miami
Meriweather can ultimately be drafted higher but in this scenario he falls to the Ravens. Like their pro-bowl caliber safety Ed Reed, Meriweather comes from the roots of Miami where the two will team up to make an intimidating safety tandem.

31. Indianapolis Colts (5-0)-Buster Davis//Florida State
The Colts could really use some help defensively, especially in stopping the run. Although a little undersized, Davis is one of the best run stuffing playmakers in division 1 college.

32. Chicago Bears (5-0)-Zach Miller//Arizona State
The Bears could use more playmakers on the offensive side of the ball and what other dimension could they add than a pass catching tight end. Enter Miller and the Bears offense will continually improve with more playmakers.

I still don't understand why these draft dorks think PIT is going RB. They just extended Parker, traded for Davenpoop, and Haynes is an above average (yet unspectacular) 3rd down guy. PIT needs a WR, DL depth, and CB depth before another RB, especially one coming off injury.

A lot of the logic this mock uses comes from the writer's fantasy world.

That mock is based off of record as of week 5. If the season ended today we would be drafting 15th overall. Not really giving us any props, but I guess it's still pretty cool.

I don't totally agree that Pitt. needs WR depth. They drafted Santonio Holmes and he should be more developed by next season.

I don't see quinten moses going top 3 after the lackluster senior campain hes had so far. He had better be dominant the rest of the season if there are real hopes of him going that high.

i was laughing so hard at that. anyways his name is Pitcock.

BTW i'm not to thrilled with the Gaines Adams pick even though it would be a good pick.

Did you see the Clemson game last week? I'm not sold on his overall tallent, but you can't argue the fact that that man is a GAME CHANGER.

Ward is 30+, Wilson is not a starter, and guys like Washington and Morey can be upgraded on. Holmes isn't going to be a star IMO, so WR depth is neccessary.
