I've never seen Chad Johnson so hyped up about a matchup. Talk about confidence. I have the feeling that Johnson will score twice like he said and run all over number 21 on Sunday. My money is on 85.

boy do i feel bad for you. After last year's performance, I drafted him too. What a flop! Seems like if Chad can't celebrate, he doesn't find it worth it to catch the ball.

hes doing OK...but hes gonna step it up...i can feel it.

One of the funnier things I saw last season was Jim Mora screaming out "you own him" referring to Hall's coverage on Owens, but I think Owens had like 8 catches or somethin for 100+ yards but no TDs.

Not exactly sure if that's "owning" someone.

7 for 112 to be exact, but what's funny is Hall's coverage been great all season outside of last week, and that's the one game you guys went to :falldownlaugh:

P.S. Ward was in Hall's zone that play and Hall allowed the catch, then got Deion syndrome. Last week was easily the worst of game I've ever seen him play.

You know I read somewhere, forgot where, that Terrence Newman hasn't given up a TD since 2004? I wonder why he isn't getting much pub cuz in a division with TO, Burress, Moss and Lloyd (j/k), that's pretty impressive.

Hall is a top 3 CB in the league, but I take Chad in this match-up because you can count on Carson Palmer to put the ball where only he can get to it on most occasions.

That's not an excuse. I do think Hall will shut down CJ though. Johnson struggles against great corners.

Champ Bailey 2004...of course, Johnson pushed off the entire game but still :unsure:

The better question is if Hall will blamed for blowing coverage even when the guy caught the ball on the side of the field he wasn't defending? :hyper:

Bailey got torched by everyone (including Princess Porter in '04). Not a good measuring stick.

That 70 yard TD was Cover DeAngel0 at its best. Drop everyone back, pray DeAngelo makes a play....he didn't. Not only that, he didn't even try to make a play, just wanted to run stride for stride with Hines like a fool.

I think Buress beat him for 50 yard td last monday, or it could of been Henry.

Chad Johnson has outplayed some of the better corners in the nfl. Like Champ Bailey, Chris McAlister and Nate Clements.

Come on even 85 cant catch the ball a lot when practically the whole team is covering him why do u think housmanzadeh and henry are having good years because they have a cbn on him a deep SS and a short olb blocking of the throwing lanes

I hope 85 Eats him this week!!!

teams usually focus on the run game not CJ. plus he only runs deep so CB's can give him a big cusion. BTW those other WR's do well because they are good, all the Cinci WR's are big and fast.
The other recievers would put up the same numbers if Chad wasnt there???

**** right, Hall is one of the most over-rated players in the league. Having a big mouth helps him get the pub, but his performances aren't really impressive. It seems every into he gets is off a tip and theres been plenty of times I've seen him torched including getting undressed by Ward last week.

Just to give you guys some new material outside of 2 games. I could add 2005 vs Minnesota but that was 1 play when we were up 30-3 which I really don't care about :)

I guess you have the Raiders and the Bengals too. Which reminds me, i was at Kenwood mall here in Cincinnati and this woman was looking at Bengals jerseys for obviously one of her children. She held up a Chad Johnson jersey, looked at me and asked "Do you know if this one is in jail or not?"

It was kind of hard to see but it didn't look like Hall was covering Chad when he had his one TD. Plus he was held to two total catches. So D-hall wins imo.

The TD was against Webster. The Falcons are strict about the side the CBs play on and DeAngelo is the LCB, Webster is the RCB. Didn't see every catch, hopefully the game is on Replay so I can give fair and unbalanced view of it :)
