Look at the schedule, PSU plays the easist schedule in the country. They should have good numbers.

Both defenses are good and both offenses are bad, but PSU has more talent at the skill positions if their OL will give them time.

Maybe, but I don't make the schedule so I'm just stating what I've seen from their team this year. I think it is a good defense, and I don't care if Michigan is still rebuilding....they embarrased that team in Ann Arbor, and they have a pretty dynamic offense. Currently ranked # 1 in the Big 10.

Well, that was an *** kicking that we took, but, it just showed we weren't ready to really beat the elite. SI.com has us playing LSU in the capital one bowl, I figured we would end up in the cap one or outback bowl.

Sooooo that was a GREAT second half by us! So what do you think.... is it going to be capital one or will we get picked over Iowa for a BCS bowl??? I know Iowa beat us, but none of that matters to BCS officials, they care about $$$, ratings and do your fans travel well. That is a huge YES for all 3 when it comes to us.

it is easy to have great stats when you play in the big 10 and your toughest out of conference opponent is temple.

I've already seen a few early projections that have PSU over Iowa. You are absolutely right about the BCS officials only worried about the $$$, so I think Penn State could very easily get the nod over Iowa. We will see, I think Iowa earned it over the Nittany Lions this year because they lost both their games at home but it's not going to come down to who had the better season.....it's all about $$$$$

That would probably get the second best ratings next to the Championship game.

I agree Iowa did earn it, they beat us and had more quality wins, what's gonna hurt them aside from the fact that their a major bore and their regular season and bowl games are ratings killers is that alot of those BCS officials tend to remember the teams LAST game in deciding on an At large bid. Iowa had a horrible game against and terrible and I mean terrible Minnesota team @ home on senior day. Meanwhile, we LIT it up over a rival on the road, we were exciting and dominate (in the 3rd quarter) anyway.
