Mike Martz WILL be gone next year

He can only get us to a certain point, and we need a coach that can take us to the next level, plus this was Mike Nolans quick-decision Hiring. His bonehead plays time after time make me a firm believer that he will be gone next year.

Until we improve at certain positions I don't know if any OC will give us a high powered offense - we've moved the ball effectively this year because of Martz' passing schemes but the slow developing plays don't mesh well with the struggling line especially up the middle, it has also hampered our run game along with the lack of a power FB. I've also missed seeing rollouts and bootlegs this season - something that fits Hill's style of play, I'm even excited when Martz calls a play action. If Martz stays I think somebody, who he will listen to (Ahem...Singletary) should talk to him about adjusting his playbook a bit more to suit our strengths and weaknesses. Also we really should get a FB for Gore and Hill. If we improve a significant amount on pass protection and run blocking, and if Bruce can come back and have another productive season while one or more of our young receivers steps up and become legitimate threats we'll be in pretty good shape.

Scot McCloughan doesn't like him, and has been pretty outspoken in saying that he doesn't think Martz is correctly utilizing our personnel. I'd say he's a goner.

Martz will be gone. He wants to be in a situation that he will be running the show. With all of the potential HC positions that will be open next year. I cannot believe that he won;t be hires for any of them with the exception of the Rams or the Lions, (places he has been before). :drive:

Srsly, how can an Organization go through that many OC's every year, who is permitting this? the YORKS?

Continuity is only good if it's going in the right direction. Martz's offenses have been hitting the same road blocks for 7 years. It's time to get rid of the dysfunctional piece.

Martz will get a HC job somewhere. If he was smart he should go to the college ranks.
