I said. it.
ards:But really, he's the biggest trading piece and they can always go with a 2 HB system, thunder and lightening, by drafting them in the mid to late rounds. Time to bail on the guy before he loses all trade value, and it's been done before with McGahee and Portis. :shoot: HB is a much easier position to fill than any other position with a few teams having as many as 3 good HBs and many teams running with 2 HBs. Many here want a good smashmouth short yardage back which would be nice. A good compliment would be a fast and dash who has a 2nd gear to be that homerun threat. No one is saying to trade Willis since MLB is a harder position to fill, so no need for emo comments. The main concern comes from a ***** front office who cannot build a roster, but that is a subject of its own. The 49ers are near last in the league in rushing. Even the Jets with their rebuilt o-line, signed Faneca and Woody, are running much better. Rookies such as Forte, Kevin Smith, Choice, etc have all done well. In the past, Portis was traded for Bailey + a 2nd round pick while McGahee was traded for two 3rd round picks. Gore can be traded for picks or a legit, good starter. I like Gore and I'd hate to see him go, but if a scenario presented itself that would get us proven, essential pieces I wouldn't be opposed to it. As long as he was NOT in the NFC West, preferably not the NFC at all, I would not want to play against him if he went somewhere with a great O-Line.
