Why don't you think for a minute what Marino and Manning DO, or DID, compare THAT to Smith and then get back to me, moron.
Relax PP, nobodies claimimg Smith superman or jesus yet. He's showing great signs and could possibly be developing into a special QB. How bout you enjoy it rather than deny it? or are you more a hater than a fan?

You were talking specifically about "throwing on the run" to begin with, and even cited instances where Smith broke the pocket and ran.

Now that Prospector brought up examples that contradict your claim, you're just back tracking to change the subject.

I got another "contradiction" for you: Peyton Manning threw more inaccurate passes than Alex Smith did last Sunday.

Some people just can't bare the thought their previous bold claims may be proving to be garbage. They would rather stroke off their own ego than face facts, regardless of if those facts could be in the best interest of the team and fanbase.

I think the term is "overcompenating"...

I don't know what looks sillier, people having silly opinions that get crushed, or the people that continue to look silly trying to deny reality, when they should have just learned their lesson.

My sig....

Singletary also said Banta-Cain would be a top tier pass rusher.

Yeah, throwing on the run as one instance where Smith doesn't look Franchise quarterbacklike. So what if Manning and Marino don't or didn't run and throw much. Peyton and Dan have other qualities Alex doesn't even approach and those qualities made them franchise quarterbacks. Pleez stop trying to make the comparison. Peyton Manning is a sure shot Hall of Famer. Dan Marino showed Hall of Fame potential in his rookie season.

You're talking out of your arse again...just like before. I mean look at your illogic. Peyton Manning had a bad day, therefore Alex Smith is Franchise Quarterback material?

Honestly, I don't even read your posts anymore.

You have proven to myself and others that what you THINK you know about football is limited to what you see as a spectator and as a blogger. Aside from that, you back-track your own "points" and change subjects when you get backed into a corner. You also resort to putting words in people's mouths in an attempt to change subjects.

So whatever you wanna think at this point, go right ahead. Hopefully, for your sake, Alex Smith flounders and fails completely the rest of the season so that your fragile ego isn't crushed completely. Have a nice day.
